Resource Direct Recruitment is currently recruiting a degree qualified Structural Design Engineer with Staad Pro experience. Our client is a well established engineering and manufacturing company who is recruiting on a permanent basis due to new long term projects being secured.

Key duties will include:

  • To provide technical support to tendering activities
  • To provide technical support to R&D projects
  • Review client technical specifications
  • Produce design solutions and undertake design and analysis calculations.
  • Undertake FE modelling using software such as STAAD Pro.
  • Checking of structural design reports.
  • Participate in design review to ensure design outputs are cost effective.

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree in Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Competent with applicable structural analysis software (STAAD)
  • Working knowledge of industry design codes.
